Where do you work and what is your position?
Nikolaus & Hohenadel, LLP – Partner

How long have you been a member of LSHRM?
Since about 2002 – actually it would be nice to know exactly when it was if you have records going back that far. I remember when we met at the Eden for breakfast.

What do you love most about LSHRM?
It is a great way to connect with others who work in the HR field

What’s your favorite LSHRM event and why?
The December meeting is always fun and festive

What’s your biggest professional accomplishment so far?
That is a tough one – (I practice in other areas of the law so I will limit to employment law) – I think of arguing cases in front of the PA Commonwealth Court – and winning. And, just getting through the COVID shutdown and daily changes that came about from that. Keeping up with everything and providing up-to-date counsel to my clients, all while alone in my home office…

What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve ever received?
I can’t think of anything right now. I feel like I am more on the dishing out advice end now… 😊

When you’re not working, how do you enjoy spending your time?
Walking, card making (yes, I make handmade cards – it is very relaxing and it uses some creativity but isn’t too difficult), reading

What is something about you not many people know?
I have taught adult Sunday school most of my adult life.
